Thanks guys, as you may have guessed by now I am not"trade". I have tried to google the fixings recommended above and can not find 12s, the closest I can find is this

is this the same thing. I assume the reference to "brown" is a rawlplug.

and when your there get some washers to spread the load on the rad bracket
