Hi,

I'm having difficulty fitting a quadrant shower. The guides are installed and are vertical but there seems to be an positioning issue when the screen is fully pushed into the guides. Please can someone confirm whether it is ok for the panel to not fully slide into the guide when you secure it in? I have attached a photo.

Thanks

Yes, that’s how it’s adjusted. As long as it’s pushed in far enough for you to get a screw into it it’s fine ( this is usually about 10mm minimum)

IMPORTANT: look down from above to see how far the glass goes into the profile that is attached to it - then make sure your screws miss that, or it’s a nasty surprise when the glass goes bang.

@Ben-gee Any idea why this is happening (see photo). The guides are both vertical and positioned as per the instructions, yet there keeps being a gap on one of the guides. I've repositioned the rail several times with just one guide secured to try and line it up but its still happening. Any guidance appreciated.

Thanks

I suspect you have distorted the wall profile by screwing it back hard to a non-perfectly flat wall.

If that’s the case all you can do is back off the particular screw that is causing this, pack behind it with a rigid shim and tighten into place.

The resulting gap between profile and wall will need to be covered/filled when you silicone that joint,
