I have a proboil 2x boiler for my instant hot water tap.
It has developed a leak from inside the casing. This is the 3rd boiler i have had now as replacements and all developing the same leak.
I live in a soft water area, any ideas what could be causing this or is this a known fault?

I have just had the same issue with the unit being replaced under warranty!
I dismantled the unit and discovered a plastic spigot on the Venturi unit had cracked.

This was the response from Abode:

From the images sent over it does look like the venturi has snapped which can happen due to a build up of pressure internal to the tank—this can be caused by a lack of maintenance, poor installation, or transit damage. As we checked over your install, we can rule this cause out.

I have attached an image of the brass body within a tap. Having replaced a cartridge which has cured a leaking tap, I can see that there is a small leak from the brass body which can be unscrewed. Is there a seal behind the body? Thanks.

Hello, I am seeking some advice, I have a POTTERTON PROMAX 28 COMBI Boiler and I noticed yesterday that the water around the house is no longer warming up. The heat exchanger has been changed 6 months ago, so I do not believe it is that. Does anyone have any ideas on what it could be? Thanks
