Hi Guys,

Need some help. Potterton Gold H keeps blowing the spur fuse when running ether hot water or heating. System is a Y plan and 3 port valve has recently been replaced however issue has been ongoing customer has said for past 2 years.

Fuse blows within few minutes of running hw or ch. Strange thing is sometimes it will be ok for weeks and then randomly the fuse will blow. When replaced it again will be ok for a while.

Could it be an issue with pump? Any guidance would be appreciated.

Thanks

Flow switch not dripping ?

Possibly I had something similar years ago, I would check the 3 port isn’t leaking water and arcing occasionally, causing the trip to go
