Had a parking notice back in July, I was in Plumbfix about 8 minutes, came out with notice stuck to my screen. £60 if paid by a certain time, appeal and not successful then £100. I am not paying it as (I was not parked in a designated bay, I acknowledge). My van was hit last year when parked at the opposite end of the parking area in a designated bay. The sign says ALL vehicles must be parked in a designated bay. I took photos of 2 vehicles not parked in a designated bay( in the area where I had been previously hit) and asked the parking person why these cars that park there regularly don't receive tickets. She said they have parking permits. I will not pay this as clearly not ALL vehicles are parked in designated bays. I commented about this on my appeal and was told they cannot comment on other cases, even though I told them this was part of the reason my van was hit before and part of the problem. They then send me a photo of someone parked out of bay and a van trying to get around it......even though they can't comment on other cases. The rules are not being adhered to 100%. I will take my chance and go to court.
Anyone had similar or any advice.
Cheers
