Hi guys, I've got a problem here. I have to replace an old rad with only one valve that comes with 2 pipes (8 mm). Guess it is microbore . I want to replace the rad with a new towel rail. Will it be alright to connect the new rad with the same valve and block the other side? Thanks for your answers.

It may work, but you would be better off fitting 2 new valves to the new rail and connecting one pipe to each. Some towel rails are specific about what end the flow and return are fitted to and can have a tube inside the rail so as to direct the flow to the top of the towel rail. In this case it definantly will not work. Hope this helps

Hi. That type of dual valve has a flexable tube attached on its inlet / outlet inside the rad. Do not go there, use two valves as has been stated. Good Luck
