Hi,
I have a quick question to ask.
I'm in college, doing 6129 L2 and aware that I'll need to get NVQ2 in order to qualify as a plumber.

Q: If I start my own show, you know, like doing bathrooms, sinks, blocked pipes etc,and document it all, and then call in an assessor will he award me NVQ2 (providing that its all in order of course)? Or I must be supervised by a qualified plumber whilst doing practical?
Its 'cos I've knocked on so many doors, asking for an apprenticeship, but response nearly always is: business is slow blah blah blah, call next year....
Am I overly ambitious?
Thanks

you can build your portfolio whilst out on your own document and take photos of everything you do and put it in your portfolio
