Fitting a loc-on in morning, i know there measured in Lbs, any other advice please.

do you mean a lead loc?
its the lead that in lbs ie. 6lbs 1/2" pipe
1 foot weighs 6lbs

Yes, eco thats it lead loc, i guess the weight refers to the thickness of side wall on pipe.

study the pipe well as they come in at 5/6/7/9/11 lb flavours and at around £5 a piece youll want to get it right first time. 7 lb the norm tho imo.
