Hi All

Doing a high class B & B (refurb in a listed building) with a dozen bedrooms, disabled public & staff toilet approximately just under 250 loading units (high usage). 42mm copper H & C riser from basement plant room 3 floors and then ending up in attic doing a drop down system to ground floor. All bedrooms are on 1st & 2nd floor.

My concerns are:

Hot return started in 22 mm and dropped to 15mm halfway up riser. Changed this to 22mm, will be putting boiler fixes on some hot returns to stop short circulation and will balance when testing. I know ideally hot return should be teed in at the furthest sanitryware but nature of the building the main branch pipework is well over 3m from the sanitryware. May have to put in another secondary return pump

I have upsized some pipework that were on the plans (eg 2 basins, 1 shower & toilet for 1 bathroom feed by a 22mm and in the same room a bath which had another feed of 22mm from another drop aswell, because of it being listed building could only do one drop so done a 35mm pipe to feed all of this sanitryware) but was this totally necessary if a booster pump and break tank is going to be installed?

I know the men & girls in suits have designed this but as the guy on the ground would appreciate any views, opinions etc I know its fri night and im about to get kicked off the computer, many thanks in advance
