Leaking magnetic filters...

Has anyone come up with a good way of stopping these weeping when they have been serviced but with no new seal. Too many to carry around a seal for all of them.

I have one to go to today which I have not heard of. It is called instinct eco mag. Cannot get a replacement o'ring in time. Cheera

Plumbcity own brand they carry spares as above silicone grease the rubber seal . Kop

No they dont they keep hold of them so when they go back they have a replacement if they dont get called back for the service it's someone else's problem mwah ha ha!

Looks like a mag one.

A lot of the cheaper brands are all the same just different names on the side.

Was the top middle part that was leaking. New O'ring on it and now it's all good.

You can but o ring material in 5m lengths quite cheap, simply cut the length you required and glue with cyanoacrylate glue. They even do a little jig for cutting them.

I wouldn’t use for gas obviously or anything high temperature.

Alternatively if you’ve got a oring that’s too big you can cut a bit out of the length and glue.

You have a fernco so should need a slip as I bet you that’s a male tee (no socket)
