Hi there,

I have a leak under my sink due to a pipe splitting right at the elbow, the pipes are fused together using solvent weld as far as I can see so I'm not sure what to do to replace it, do I have to saw the whole pipe off and replace the broken pipe and albow using the same method? Any advice would be great!

Thanks in advance

best way to repair most plastic fittings is cut out and replace with new fittings and pipe

You could convert to push fit but you would need a compression type waste connector.
Push fit and solvent weld pipes are different sizes.
