As usual, phone going mad with people needing work doing before Christmas.

"Me bogs bin bust since February but me Mam's comin fer er Christmas dinner an she got dodgy bowels, can yer do me a new bog before she comes?"

"Need a bathroom ripping out, plastering, tiling and new one fitting before Christmas, Can you come and have a look?"

Boils my pish that they wait till last minute then get face on when they can't get work done

Tell me about it, its a bloody nightmare, I've also got a training week next week at the worst possible time but can't reschedule it without it costing a fortune. Its going to be very late nights all the way through to Sunday.
 
I have an easy list of work to cover till end of play next Thursday. There's scope in there for the odd breakdown or small unexpected event. Other than that then the custs can either wait or find somebody else.
Works planned to be ramping back up on the 7th January and I will only work between the 21st and 7th if I feel like it.
