I done a tiling course was ok, to be fair it's not rocket science, I get a fair bit of tiling just work from a level, keep it level, use a level, think about the set out and take ya time and rtfi

You actually fell for his OP????
The blokes hates tiling with a passion. He even pays someone else to do the splash back at his home even though he was off work at the time. He will never make a tiler, so give him no advice.

The fittings below are for a mixer bar attached to a self contained shower. i.e not a wall. The attaching screws have snapped. I could get two new brackets, dismantle that existing one and start again or I could try and re attach via those screws, removing the broken ones from the plate and wall...
