Hi how can I temporarily isolate the hot water flow from a Combi, so that I can perform maintenance on a tap that has no service valve leading up to it?

Turning you're stopcock off, usually under the sink should suffice.

I'll have to see if the Boiler has an isolation valve to on the cold feed.

If not, then I will have to isolate if from the mains supply.

I hope this won't do any damage to the Boiler.

I assume it will be better for my to turn off the boiler too.

use your mains stopcock less likely to leak afterwards than a isolator on a combi
