I have a combined underfloor heating and radiator system (rads upstairs and towel rails) It seams my towel rails that are downstairs have two pressure relief valves on them whilst the ones upstairs do not. The boiler is downstairs and teh hotwater tank upstairs. It is a 3 bar system but the downstairs PRV's seam to relive regularly especially when i turn one of them off...any ideas why this would happen or if i can replace wonky PRV with a normal valve

cheers

Hi. Pressure reducing valve are not normally associated with the heating side of a heating/plumbing system. Are you sure this is the case?

Do you mean TRV (thermostatic radiator valve)? It will definitely not be a PRV (pressure reducing valve).
Post a pic if you can.

I wonder if they are Aladin auto air vents? should be marked up let us know please:)regards turnpin

I have attached some photos of the pesky valves
