Discuss Heatmiser Actuators, wont clip on the adaptor in the Water Underfloor Heating Advice area at PlumbersForums.net

Hi folks, this is probably a simple thing I'm missing but I don't want to force and break anything.

i have a 7 port manifold from Underfloor Heating Manifolds c/w Iso Valves, Flow Meters, Gauges, Fill & Drain Points | VPS Underfloor Heating - https://www.vpsunderfloorheating.co.uk/product/underfloor-heating-ufh-manifolds/ and heatmiser actuators, model TA230, NC.
I have removed the decorators caps, unclipped the adaptor that is pre fitted to the heatmiser actuators, screwed it on to the manifold and gone to clip the actuator on. It will not go on, the pin on the manifold that moves up and down with pressure sits above the adaptor ring, but when the adaptor ring is on the actuator there is no space for that pin and it will not go lower than the adaptor ring.
I don't get it, these are the actuators which VPS sells for their manifold, it should fit.. shouldn't it.?

Are the heads calling eg on for heat ?

There’s your problem will require a lot of force to install them as the heads are in the closed position probably so your fighting the pins

Yep or just use your program to call everything
