allright guys just been to the above boiler the outter flue is rotten scottish gas have at risked the appliance this needs replaced as the boy is selling the house but gledhill dont sell the parts for love of money i cant get hold of the flue so for a 5 year old boiler we will need to replace a full boiler.

its connected to a boilermate2000 so i cant change to a sealed system
 
Ye, Gledhill don't sell parts any more, have the same trouble. Rubbish boilers. Should be ok with an 18kw, especially as there is a 30 in atm. Best thing to do is turn it back on and just test the working pressure before ordering and replacing it.
 
Wop in a logic heat only it's perfect and the inlet it 15mm. So just uplift the bit by the meter to 28mm.
