Please excuse my ignorance.
We are having a new boiler connected to the gas and wired in tomorrow.
Does the plumber have to have a gas safe certificate or can just the firm have a certificate that covers are their employed plumbers?
Many thanks.

Each gas engineer working for the company should have a gas card which they can show you.

Another trade working for the same firm wouldn't be able to fit the boiler.

anyone touching a gas appliance needs to be gas safe reg

simple question as soon as you open the door can i see your gas safe card please if hes shows fine if he doesn't sorry cant come in

Are you suspicious?

I only ask because in 20 years I've only been asked for mine twice!
