Hey guys, did 1st floating basin today, was a victorian bathrooms basin. Hung it on fisher bolts 12mm

No instructions at all with it or pictures. Hung the semi ped and it doesnt fit to the top of the basin like a normal pedestal would.

Is this normal?

It wouldnt fit in because the basin is a curved edge when the ped goes. However the pedestal has a straight edge. Wouldnt if it ant the same ped for the basin aswell?

floating basin????????????????????????????????????? must have been a massive leaK LOL

You won't get instructions with it but it should be a close fit, not exact like a standard pedestal as its not used as any sort of support.

If its that bad could you have the wrong ped?

Seems like it plumber, the customer said they saw it on show and the gap was filled with all silicone.. Lol might just be as it is..

Sounds terrible they shouldn't need filling with silicone, cheap rubbish.

Im just gunna leave it, u can only see the gap if ur on your hands n knees. Thanks for the input:)
