Hi, I am having problems with a dripping bathroom tap, both tap cartridges (quater turn) have been replaced and the tap has been seated with a 7/8 tap reseating tool. Since reseating the tap today, the dripping has now got worse, the only thing I can think of next is to replace the taps which have only been in for around 4 years. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

Reseating how ?

A reseating tool certainly knacker a 1/4 turn tap. They are for cleaning the metal mating surface for washered taps.

As above, you’ve now knackered it by reseating.
You will either need a slightly longer cartridge than you had previously or I have in the past got over this problem by placing a suitably sized oring between the seat and the cartridge.

Or a fibre washer
