they have to do this publicity lark as theres so few coppers in devon and cornwall to cover the area normally let alone at xmas, cos they are all down the pub too!!

lame's right about the number of police we have down here, Mate of mine works from Bodmin covers all the accident's from Lands End to Taunton, and they are talking about more cuts, I know we all knock the Police but think how things would be without them.

I don't think the police are to blame for this one. Only a moron drinks and drives. It's not worth the risk. I lost a family member years ago due to a drunk driver. He lived three roads away from the pub. He got a pathetic sentence and is now enjoying his life. I'm amazed people still see the need to drink and drive.
