warning
A tornado warning (SAME code: TOR) is a severe weather warning product issued by regional offices of weather forecasting agencies throughout the world to alert the public when a tornado has been reported or indicated by weather radar within the parent severe thunderstorm. It can be issued after a tornado, funnel cloud and rotation in the clouds has been witnessed by the public, storm chasers, emergency management or law enforcement, and indicates that residents in the affected areas should take immediate safety precautions.
A warning should not be confused with a tornado watch, issued in the United States by the Storm Prediction Center (SPC) and in other countries by applicable regional forecasting agencies or national severe weather guidance centers, which only indicates that conditions are favorable for the formation of tornadoes. Although a tornado warning is generally a higher alert level than a tornado watch, in the U.S., it can be surpassed by a higher-level alert—structured as wording that can be added to the official warning product—to warn the public of intense tornadoes affecting a densely populated area.
A tornado watch is not required for a warning to be issued; tornado warnings are occasionally issued when a tornado watch is not active (i.e. when a severe thunderstorm watch is active, or when no watches are in effect), if a severe thunderstorm develops and has a confirmed tornado or strong rotation.
The CP14 Warning Notice was updated to reflect the recommendations contained within the Gas Industry Unsafe Situations Procedure Seventh Edition (GIUSP) and its subsequent replacement IGEM/G/11 (see also CORGI Direct Publication USP 1). It has been enhanced further at its last reprint, following...

I've setup the warning system to take the pressure off of staff.
Get a warning for wasting the time of staff by replying with more smarmy remarks or whatever and your account will have restrictions applied.
Staff can and will reply to one post and give a verbal warning / correction. No...
It seems really clear to me not to pay such a company but I thought I'd make it clear in a post. Let's not name names because of solicitors letters, do that in a thread in the Plumbers Arms or Plumbers Cafe. But I've just found out about another company that sounds similar to BeeGeeAre Plumbing...

Hi guys. I am after a bit of advice. I installed an Intergas boiler a couple of yrs ago. The client called me and said it kept cutting out so I told her to call Intergas. Intergas came and fitted a new gas valve but labelled the boiler At Risk for having no isolation valve at the appliance. He...

Brand new to these forums and would welcome any help.
I've recently moved into a house with wet UFH installed. It is a standard Polypipe system with manifold and zone pump (only 1 zone, but large). I've attached a diagram showing the set up and a picture of the mixer/pump combo on the...
Hi guys I got my gas safety inspection in a couple if weeks time. I need to get the warning labels where do you guys purchase them from.

Lads,
Thought you might like a good laugh. We’re not working for Warmahome any more by the way! He's decided to bin us not because of our quality of work but because he doesn't feel that large vans cost £1 per mile to run with every cost factored in.
He's been trying to knock our fuel...
Hi All,
I recently changed the tank in my loft as I am fitting a new digital power shower and the old one wasn't big enough and was made of asbestos.
So I bought a Polytank 50 gallon tank and fitted it according to the instructions.
My question is - is the dip tube on the overflow supposed to...

As you all know, the ErP directive comes into force later this summer, and all boilers being shipped from manufacturers after 31st July have to meet the standard - which usually means uprating the pump to an A rated one.
There is no legal requirement for merchants to stop stocking non-ErP...
