Can someone please advise the correct way to drain and RE-FILL a PULSACOIL 2000. Happy New Year to All.David F. ((TheFamousForry)

A hose and a hand to turn off the valve or the fill valve up springs to mind?

Can you refill through the header tank. It has no ball cock .

It probably had no overflow and therefore will have no ball valve.
Might have to fill header tank with a hose.

Yes that's is correct. No ball valve. I filled header tank several times until it stopped draining into main tank. Is that ok way to refill? Is that the only way to refill? Your replies are very much appreciated. D.F

That's all you can do.

Usually the installer would put a cold supply near the tank with a washing machine valve on and a hose to use to fill it. Saying that tho I've been to plenty where I've had to run a hose from a tap.

yep the advise above is correct ....... absolute quality them Gledhills

Do the next bloke a favour and change the washer in the drain cock!

Fill the F&E tank until you reach the half way point, (where it gets larger) if that makes sense. I've had to fill plenty of them with a hose from another room. Right pain in the back side.

Just like the system mate 2000.

How many times have u been to job where DHW is intermittent...... Other bloke changed tmv, pump, plate suggested boiler needs a power flush... All it needed was 5l of water!
