what the best core drill set to buy as i want one to last

many thanks

I've been using the makita set for the last two years, plenty of use hardly worn. Set was on offer for around the hundred/hundred and ten quid I think.

I was talking to a young lad using some of the same the other day, using hammer action on it!!, the boss had told him to, don't suppose that'll last too long.

I think PDP have actually tested a number of machines for diamond core bit drilling - hence their recommendation of the Makita. They wobbled on about different types of gear boxes and other stuff..

Norton one - mate has this and its the dogs danglies - comes in anice carry case and the extensions are included in the set. I have the rottenburger one and it's OK but wouldn't recommend it (bought it for peanuts at auction).

If you need a core set for

PORCELAIN TILES - GRANITE - MARBLE - TRAVERTINE

And want to drill to a depth of 32mm (A kitchen worktop in granite is 30mm) then we have a core drilling kit.

Its £49.99 for seven tile drills

Great Value For Money.

Even if you are looking for other types of core drill sets to go through masonary and brick this one is still worth a look....
