Hey guys, I'm new to the forum but it looks great so far. I have a question about classifying a cooker ....

Is a cooker with missing knobs AR or ID? I can work the hobs using the metal parts so they do work, but the plastic control knobs are mostly missing.

Any ideas?

thanks

Would say ar but you can’t be wrong for being overcautious

Try the blue search box at the top right of the page and search for the words "hob missing knob" and you will find at least one thread discussing this at length. IIRC, the consensus was AR if FFSDs were fitted and ID otherwise.

(The black floating search widget seems to be linked to Google are returns mainly adverts)

Hello, I am seeking some advice, I have a POTTERTON PROMAX 28 COMBI Boiler and I noticed yesterday that the water around the house is no longer warming up. The heat exchanger has been changed 6 months ago, so I do not believe it is that. Does anyone have any ideas on what it could be? Thanks

Hi guys. I'm trying to identify a toilet model before ordering a seat for a customer. I went to what used to be a Roca stockist (they no longer are) and one of the guys there reckoned it might be "The Gap". I went to the new stockist and the guy there disagreed it was "The Gap" and that he'd...

We are from Alberta, and I own an electrical company. I have been asked by a BC Mechanical P. Eng. to install an emergency STOP button at the man-door to the boiler room. It's intent is to 'halt' the operation of the boilers in the room should there be an emergency. He is demanding that I do...
