Chemicals?

Hi all. Just a quick question. When you guys carry out a boiler swap do you always treat the existing system with a chemical before you actually install the new appliance? If so, what do you recommend. If not, why not? Cheers.

if the MFIs tell you to I do, or it wont have a warranty and I dont fit viessmans so no need not to. re what to use, I just use the merchants cleanser or inhibitor on offer.

With most cleaners do they not need to be in the system for a few days before draining down and installing a new boiler.

read the instructions on the cleaner, the longer its there the better it works in most cases.
