Can anyone recommend a decent pipe detector to detect pipework in concrete floors - I need to chase a pipe this afternoon and don't fancy chasing through other pipes!!

Or if anyone can recommend another way??

Especially if it's a water pipe, you could try thermal imaging.

You can hire a cat and Genny from any hire shop we used them to trace services, bit of over killl maybe but it will pin point the pipe, top bit of kit.

Hit a gas pipe the other day that was buried, all carefully measured out and the idiot who put it in, put it on an angle. Ruined my Wednesday.
