Hi, I would appreciate your opinion on this. Our heat pump broke down while we were away and the temperature in the house dropped. A plumber came out to look over the house and check for damage. A couple of taps broke but we had turned off the water so no major problems that cant be fixed easily. However, he tested the underfloor heating downstairs and reports that 3 of the main circuits (there are 9 in total) had lost pressure probably due to a leak following frost damage. Is this possible? the pipes are laid in the screed under floor boards and there is no sign of any wet patches. I thought that in this situation frost wouldnt affect them. The temperature outside did get down to -15 degrees C. I am now having to face installing rads in the affected areas of the house - which involves bringing pipework through various sections of the house.
