Hi all.
Had a customer ring last night regarding a problem with their baxi VP gas fire.
Works fine on the 2nd setting but as soon as it’s turned up to 3 , stays lit for around 15 minutes then turns itself off. It can then be re-lit but turns itself off again.
Never heard of this before wonder if anyone else has?

This needs investigating it could be a safety device ie oxy pilot or flame supervision device operating doing its job ?, gas fires need servicing and testing yearly if you have qualification then you can work on it if not pass it on to a colleague, my advice service and test the fire and also get a carbon monoxide detector fitted . Kop
