Air Admittance Valve or Roof vent?

Doing a split level custom build. The plumber wants to install AAV's on some of the lower level lines, a bathroom and a bar sink. There is a way to vent them normally through the roof, it's just more work for him. Which is better? The floor above hasn't been cast and a vent can come up through the floor to meet a wall that can be stacked to the roof

What kind of roof?

Personally I'd go AAV as long as you can get to them to replace one fine day e.g. don't tile in. Wooden tops to cabinets? Gives resilience to put things down on.

I would always go natural eg to air with any vents less to go wrong and no maintenance afterwards

Bathroom - vent to atmosphere
Bar sink - AAV. They were initially designed for this situation - as long as you can get to it later on
