is it possible to have 2 hot draw off points on a Telford Tempest horizontal cylinder? i would call the company but they are shut now, so hoping you lot can help :)

hi steve,

i need to be able to feed a bath and a drench head shower at the same time, but dont worry now, i rung manufacturers. i assme, the little replies ive had, this sylinder is a new to some?

There will probably only be one draw off on the cylinder, and maybe a secondary return connection so unless you do a special order you won't be able to. It wouldn't make any difference anyway as the water can only run out as fast as it can run in and the inlet through the control group will probably be 22mm so you are stuck. A good water pressure will give you ample flow to both appliances.
Just stick a tee on as it leaves the cylinder.

what about a surrey or warix type flange? or would it be too long as the cylinder is horizontal.

thanks tamz, ur kinda right. as i said, ive rung them now and the have suggested that as long as there is enough pressure/ flow behind it, it will only affect one outleft slightly. but becasue they make them as you order, the could installa 28 instead of 22 on the connection from the cylinder. he also said that with a 22mm pipe, that sould give 54 ltrs per mins, so depending on how many ltrs per min this drentch head gives, i recon ill be ok.

steve, i cant add to this cylinder as it is all factory set.
