Hi there, I need to change my 3 port valve. I am not sure where to drain the system from; can anyone advise from the attached picture of the valve installation?

thankyou

why do you need to drain the system? the head is removable eliminating the need to drain, if however you need to drain to change body as well then simply drain the central heating at the nearest drain point remembering to manually open the 3 port to drain the coil and connecting pipework within the airing cupboard!

good luck

and while its drained get rid of that aav for a real one , and change you pump valves to gate type , yours are leaking

the only valve i can see is a ls for the bypass, should be an auto bypass valve

thanks all. I dont think anything is leaking, that is just a dusty cupboard! Where can I get a head for a lifestyle 3 port valve?

cheers

James.
