I will kick it off then. I don’t mind being judged.
Below is an older installation which I did when customer needed an upgrade for her second bathroom.

Thank you mate but I'm sure many of us have them as hand tools. I will never change the knipex these are every penny worth as well as the bahco top tools shouldn't be missing in any hand tool bag.I like you Knipex and Bahco tools Matchless...
Appreciate your concern but don't see any problem with the gas pipe whatsoever. 22mm to 15mm very standard. Vailla r has 15mm connection which means I always reduce below the boiler. Flow needs another clip? For 1m of flue? I think that's a little over the top though. Everything is safe and secure installed. What you mean with the mac? How is that not safe ? Nothing is going to happen and if the prv opens it's going safely into the waste pipe. No lagging due to price cant do all for peanuts. Not many people are committed to pay for all materials.couple of things
gas 1/2 to 22mm tee isnt gas rated
flue needs another clip on it
mac nrv isnt pressure rated and not safe for boilers only overflow
how come no lagging?

Is there any positive word from you rather than just pointing out? Perhaps you show some of your installs. I don't mind and appreciate your opinion as mentioned above. But give also some positive feedback that would be much appreciated too.
I don't think I did anything wrong. I'm happy with my boiler swap
@ShaunCorbs he could have used. A Hotun? There are rated now aren’t they?
What wrong with the tee?
Assuming it gas gas o-rings
I haven't seen a thing unfortunately... could you tell me how to find the link or the thread?Did you see the German post I tagged you in the other day Ron? You haven’t responded to him?
You cant see much the markings due to the discolouration. Everything is gas rated with the right o rings. Are the x press fittings rated for 630c to withstand 30min ? Viega fittings are and therefore I use those as they are the best fittings you can get.No gas markings and tee not suitable because it’s not labelled as no one knows later if someone’s changed the orings etc so will be cut out as it will be classed as not suitable
And gas safe could get involved
Don't be worried all is done to spec. It's just o e of Shaun's concerns again. He always give out but never props other people in positive way. I am used to it by now and I'm not bothered by it.What wrong with the tee?

Thanks a lot harvest but could t see when I logged in
That is gas safe with the right yellow o rings which are highlighted at the site of the fittings. It has a yellow small dot. But you surely know if you swap the o rings too you can use any fitting song you?
Is that not a different fitting though?
Yes cant find the one I have but it's a similar fitting. However I'm out now getting too much .. not worth the stressIs that not a different fitting though?
I'm not but don't get me wrong though wouldn't it be better to props sometimes some other engineers? It doesn't come across really good either just point out. If I wanted I could also find stuff which should be changed or amended. However, I'm very happy with the works. I would also change a few things but sometimes the quote doesn't allow for doing better works as I am not going to pay from my own pocket.Dont take it to heart Ron our Shaunie will always find something mate he doesn't mean it in a malicious way just has a eye for the slightest imperfection , as long as your happy with your work and abide by the regs and manufacturers instructions then your all good. Cheers kop
But you’ve done the whole install in press fit mate?? That’s about 10 times the price compared to an end feed fitting?I'm not but don't get me wrong though wouldn't it be better to props sometimes some other engineers? That's correct beneath the boiler it's done in crimping fittings. It's more expensive but a lot safer, faster and last a lot longer. Don't get your question though? But you’ve done the whole install in press fit mate?? That’s about 10 times the price compared to an end feed fitting?

You said you couldn’t stretch the budget yet you’ve used the most expensive fittingsThat's correct beneath the boiler it's done in crimping fittings. It's more expensive but a lot safer, faster and last a lot longer. Don't get your question though?
The seal is just a double protection. The older fittings used be sound without being crimped but due to some incidents over the years they changed the fittings and did the sc contur which helps to see if you crimped a fitting or not ( obviously ones pressurised ). It will literally spuirt all over the place.Last a lot longer.....eh??? Soldered pipework will out live neoprene o rings hand on foot!
That's the way I plumb. I chose Latest technology which customers like. No one has ever said that plumbing is cheap. I don't do cheap but quality. You said you couldn’t stretch the budget yet you’ve used the most expensive fittings
I get your point but I talk to the customer before I quote and obviously find out there budget to start with. How often you go quoting and it turns out people haven't got enough budget its literally a waste of your time and petrol. I'd rather know beforehand where I am at with the customer. I don't currently corners neither do I RIP anyone off but make sure the customer gets what he agrees and pays for.I’m not criticising I like using pressfit as well but when you are having to save on other parts of the install because you’re using expensive fittings it just doesn’t make sense
You and your contest show me some of your installs darling I'd be really curiousWhy is it safer Ron? Man has been soldering pipes underneath boilers since lpg has been around. Faster!! ... probably not by long, compared with soldering. I’d like to see one of your installs, where you ain’t got a blank canvas and you’re swapping out a boiler connecting onto pipework in a tight area, I’d absolutely floor you with speed and neatness... lovely pulled bends
