I would rather use a monkey mask that that Chinese toy town stuff

no really google monkey mask welding

you need to protect your face from the uv not just you eyes

That's what I thought, loads of carp from Guangdong province. They just seem to make snides of the cheap tat. Was looking at an autoglas - £300 notes. But who actually buys a non branded welding mask, bit like buying a radiation suit from side of road on way into Chernobyl .

I would recommend that you get hold of a copy of last months Car Mechanics magazine, it has a good review of various auto welding masks.

If you cant get it, let me know and I will scan and e-mail it to you.

Mark.

I would - ....If my wife had a 'Goggle Fetish'

I might get a pair and see if she has an 'undiscovered goggle fetish'

Mind you - I willing to give anything a go at the moment!!!!!

This will give you a fantastic two tone face, with a nicely crisped chin and neck.

Would wear similar for oxy acetylene, but for arc welding no chance, weld splatter and 'sun tan' being two reasons.

That looks incredibly dodge. When it comes to something like protecting you eyes buy quality :)
