Actually (stylised as Pet Shop Boys, actually.) is the second studio album by English synth-pop duo Pet Shop Boys, released on 7 September 1987 by Parlophone in the United Kingdom and by EMI Manhattan in the United States and Canada. According to Neil Tennant and music historian Wayne Studer, Actually loosely critiques Thatcherism, the political zeitgeist of the 1980s, and was recorded in anticipation of Margaret Thatcher's re-election.Actually is featured in the 2005 musical reference book 1001 Albums You Must Hear Before You Die, and in 2006 Q magazine placed the album at number 22 in its list of the "40 Best Albums of the '80s". In 2012, Slant Magazine listed the album at number 88 on its list of the "Best Albums of the 1980s". In 2020, Rolling Stone placed it at number 435 on its list of the "500 Greatest Albums of All Time".
Hi all
Just debating whether or not to zone my heating upstairs and Down? It's gonna be a new install and the house is under 150m2 but just wondering how much you would actually save on the gas bill as to whether its worth doing
Thanks in advance
Hi guys, I'm working on a council estate in the north east atm and have been speaking to a guy who seems to really know his stuff. His brother has a company in Milton Keynes he has worked for him for the last 5 years but has a child in the north east. Despite gaining the knowledge and the...
Just need some clarification as to this, if you have a new meter fitted the ECV is used as a service valve , if you need to carry out work on the domestic system you use the ECV as a service valve ..... is the ECV's most common use A SERVICE VALVE ???????
Rate lads, I need a quick question answering if you would do me the honour.
I have a boiler.
Boiler has a plastic pipe coming out of it. Water drips out of it. Usually when it's on. Water seems cold.
I'm assuming this is just catching condensation or something from inside the boiler or...
I have basically always been under the impression that if a boiler was specced wrong the hot water would run cold. I.e if you have 20lpm with a boiler that delivers 12lpm then you would still get 20lpm coming out the hot tap but it would only run warm as the boiler cannot handle the flow of...
Okay, so apparently nobody has heard of the Warmehaus rads I questioned about a few days ago, Anyone heard of Warmehaus / Fjord radiators?! - Plumbing Forum , but it made me think in more general terms as to whether nowadays it's realistically possible to actually buy a bad radiator and how you...
Just starting to have the trickle of plumbers round doing quotes for boilers and, as I suspected and hoped WOULDN'T happen, they're giving me different bits of advice on what I 'have' to have, along the lines of the 'I shouldn't install it without x/y/z'.
I've currently got a 14 year old...

Hi ,
I have just moved into a new build property which has a thermostat downstairs lobby (zone1) and a thermostat upstairs lobby (zone2). However, I have my doubts whether this is actually energy efficient and believe it may be actually costing me money.
In order for the upstairs bedroom to...

The gas registered guys may have seen our adverts in the "registered gas engineer" magazine. We've been running them now for about 6 months or so. There aren't many places that we can advertise, because of course we don't want Joe public to see our trade prices, but that mag reaches our target...
I bet few tradespeople really know the true cost per actual working HOUR of their van.
By cost, I mean depreciation, road tax, insurance, servicing & parts, fuel etc.
If you assume the actual working year is perhaps less than 45 weeks (hopefully!) or whatever.
Need a new helmet, scrolling through cheebay, would any of you actually trust these?

My apprentice and I spent a couple of hours digging out a 20'x10' shed slab for a stock room to keep everything we could ever need in. It's going to be the best stock room in the world once it's finished. But right now my back hurts from digging. The missus said one of the conditions was I...
