Wiring s plan from old set up y plan...?

Hi all, so things are coming on now at last!
New 250 cylinder in loft all pretty much plumbed in.
F+E tank binned off, new ups pump, 2 new zone valves imstalled...
Now im up to wiring up, have done the immersion, so we have hot water, ive wired in the dual stat. I have me head roughly into what i think is correct...
Last night when i was pressing the advance on the controller, noet was happening....no red light to indicate and no boiler fire....
i did see when i moved the contoller, there are some jumper links on the back of the unit...do i need to move these when going from y to s paln??

It sounds like you have an unvented cylinder - I’ve been told previously you’re not allowed to wire them up unless you hold G3 qualification - don’t know how much truth is in that.

None of the plumbers that quoted do the electrical work, they all farm the wiring out. Not sure that g3 is rellevant to a spark tbh

Lifestyle you shouldn’t have to move anything just wiring etc it’s known for the relays to stick / not work when there old

Other than removing the hot water satisfied at the stat and wiring centre there both pumped etc

New stat on cylinder, so only 2 and earth to worry about, one to each valve as trigger...is that right?

Ive commoned the neutal, earths and supplysvon the valves, thought i had the triggers sorted, and was happy i had the outputs correct, but something isnt quite right. I did remove a link in the junction box, as this would of joined to wires, which i thought was wrong

No! Not quite like that....i believe the gledhill diagram has the wires opposite on the stat

Have just noticed that the room stat battery light is flashing.... would this cause a non operation

Strangely the temp on the boiler climbs up to the 90s, messes about fluctuating, pump is running, but boiler not on

This is with both hw and ch set to off on the programmer

Turn them on to timed then try advance

Pump Shouldn’t be running as the system is off eg timer is off

Yes, that works!
pump runs, but boiler not firing....
Temp at 76 but all pipes cold...

Im not sure if the new pipework is correct...

Boiler display not lighting up either....sure it did...when boiler firing...

Are the oranges with the pump from the port valves and do you have 240 v on the brown to a port valve ?

Orange x2 to boiler black(sleeved with brown)
And brown to pump

Yes, sorry, my greys are fed from perm live, which also feeds the prog.
Output from the prog. For heating, goes to nothing currently!!!

Black on 10 i believe is hw out from prog.

Time for a rewire and start from scratch bell the existing cables out to see what you’ve got down stairs and adjust in the box to match

Which run back up to the out puts from cylinder stat and room stat..
