Not my job, pics sent by a mate who is just starting out and wanted some advice.

Pics are of the old pan connector on a bog due to be changed shortly. On googling what's written on side it seems it is this.

Osma 4" Soil Waste Pipe | Fittings - OSMASOIL 4S790 WHITE S/S LONG TAIL BEND 87.1/2 DEGREE - R J Pryce - Plumbing, Builders Merchant & Ironmongery

Not something I've come across before (or rather i think i did but barely remember it). Am I right in thinking it's not actually a pan connector but rather a bend meant to take another fitting which would be a pan connector with a plain end of....110mm? .. Something like this ?...(although the pictured one looks different)

Osma 4" Soil Waste Pipe | Fittings - OSMASOIL 4S791 WHITE 21/2DEGRE PAN CONNECTOR PLAIN ENDED - R J Pryce - Plumbing, Builders Merchant & Ironmongery

Would prefer something more easily/readily available if poss.

Would any 110mm piece of soil pipe be guaranteed fit into the socket sticking out the floor and then you could just bung any finned type pan connector within it? Or is it not guaranteed to be a good fit/seal? I've got a vague recollection of tackling one of these before and finding nothing would fit so ended up re-using the old bits.

If best to use like for like can someone confirm the above linked bits with a bit of lubricant careful popped back into socket would work?

Thanks

Yep put a piece of 4” in first if that won’t fit just use a bent pan connector straight in

And do you mean put the regular pan con into the soil pipe below the socket? Because it doesnt look like there's much to play with before it sweeps off

Yes if 110mm won’t fit the pan connector will be fine on its own

If it is 110mm you need a piece of soil in first

Looks like a knuckle bend to me. Can still get them then short bit of pipe and straight pan con otherwise bent pan connector depending on how far back the outlet is.
