In theory yes

For what reason? Will cold water be off main or tank? May/will it be used at same time?

Many variables

The cold main usually served the kitchen sink, maybe toilet, cwsc other cylinder depending on set up

What is the t being used for?

It should be ok, others experienced members might comment

the appliances on each leg of the tee being used at the same time would be the same concern if the cold entered the branch or a leg of the tee?
