Intermittently locking out displaying fault codes f54 f28
Please advise think I read possibly faulty gas valve somewhere but cant find post again

Might go couple of weeks before locking out never witnessed myself and is a holiday let so needs sorting

Phone Vaillant tech for voltages but last one I had was gas valve.

Seems to be a really common fault with theses boilers installed a couple myself and within months these fault codes came up .
Was done under warranty but think engineer said gas valve.

Spoke to Vailliant repair guy today he said more likely gas valve but they have had trouble with spark cap as well also have heard poss faulty lead as well, think i will go gas valve as that seems the most common failure
