Thanks. Do I need to stop / remove the water first?Take out flush valve (twist and lift)
Clean washer and seating replace washer if needed.
Also I did try to twist but it didn’t budge. I’ll try a bit harder next.Thanks. Do I need to stop / remove the water first?
OP is in UK. No wax ring under toilet here, and different flush valve arrangement. Not helpful.Check and replace the wax ring under the toilet, tighten tank bolts, and inspect for cracks. Also, examine the water supply valve. If issues persist, consult a plumber for further assistance.
Look to be the washer. It seems it’s 2 1/4 inch. I can’t seem to find one online. Any ideas where in the uk I can obtain and what I should search for online? ThanksSiamp optima 49 will only twist one way have a look on the carriage for the stops and there should be an opening on one side twist while holding the bottom carriage that way
