Is there no concerns regarding the frailty of glass? What would happen if the window was to be smashed leaving an unsupported flue and potential issues this would cause especially if installed through a bedroom window?
 
If the window smashed there'd be plenty of ventilation. :)

I take your point, glass isn't ideal but it isn't hazardous either and lets face it if the window broke you'd be extremely daft to keep using the boiler.

Having said that I think I would've used a plume kit.

Same thing what happens if you put a bag over the flue it’s all what ifs
