Hi guys I came across a thorn apollo today and it needs some parts but has no GC number or anything to identify it.All I can say is it is probably as old as me.How on earth do I find out what model it is. Any help would be appreciated.Thanks

you will be lucky to get any parts for that mate
 
Did you look in bottom cover ? sometimes its inside combustion chamber or on side , look under Myson they took over Thorne. What parts you after ?

I thought Thorn were part of the Baxi group now?
There should be some parts lists and a manual on Parts Arena.
 
Isn't the databadge on the combustion chamber door on these? Seem to remember it being riveted on??

still get gas valves / thermocouples and may be the pilot assy dont think you will get much else
 
I'm fitting a pump overrun to one next week. They came in 3 sizes far as I remember 15/30, 30/50 & 65/80. The o/heat stat was the part that varied the most unless it's something specific to the 'boiler size' you're after?
 
The data badge was a sticker, that has crumbled away due to the heat from the combustion cover. Seen it loads of times.
 
This is where I get confused, the OP is not GSR so how come we are talking about looking in/around combustion chamber etc etc?
 
Thorn Apollo. I have one still running at my home. What parts you looking for as they don't have too much parts inside.
