Is the above tool any good?

Got an anton apm 150 at the mo thinking of changing it to the testo is it a good upgrade or not?

Cheers

I have them both and use the 510 for burner pressure checks. When I need it for anything above 100mb my 150 is in my bashing bag.
The 510 is a nice little manometer that keeps my service bag light.

Lots of different opinions but me personally think Testo is far superior with most of there equipment

I use both as well, I got the 150 because I test service pipework between 1st and 2nd stage regulators. My 510 is used for burner pressures.

then there's my 120mbr J gauge and my 60mbr water gauge too. Most eventualities covered!

It's very sensitive though as it goes down to 2 decimel points. I swapped for the anton back a while as it's waterproof and I have a habit of leaving it hanging off the meter for a while.

testo is good gear but expensive imho, but its your choice, I use a kane 455 and find it does the lot and annual services are the cheapest around.

Used the testo.

Hate it.

Got an Evo sprint 2.

Hate it.

Give me a 455 any day of the week.

Cropster have u tried the newer ones , the coloured screens , the older ones nothing special granted but with the newer ones they have really stepped up there game

I use a tpi, not used any others and it does what it says on the tin. Im happy.

Tpi gear is good if your a tool terrorist. Breake and they replace FOC for life

Tool terrorism in action. Sorry baby!

New power pack or will they be raiding your house next for allegations of historic tool abuse. :D

I have a broken screen and the service does not want to fix it. ;-( Does anyone have a malfunctioning Testo 510 or somehow spare parts?

Can anyone recommend a decent multi meter, preferably under a 100 pounds. It's for checking boiler components so I don't need a top spec one ....just easy to use and reliable. The fluke 115 looks good but its above my budget. My current socket and see one was great but it's developed a fault.

Ideal Logic 24, Previous problem was that the hot water was only cold or barely warm if the heating was in use. If heating was off and boiler cold then would get hot water most of the time. Changing the flow cartridge about 2 years ago (when I moved in) solved this problem enough to suffer it as...

Hi all. Hope you have all been keeping well. A while back I decided I only wanted to fit one brand of boiler and decided on Viessmann due to space for servicing and changing parts if ever needing to. I am finding my decision rather hard due to the different clearances on flue runs and cupboards...

We run a community village hall and have a large kitchen provided for the use of hirers. This includes a Lincat SLR9 gas cooker which I believe is a 23.8Kw appliance with all six burners and oven on max. This was installed some 10 years ago and has passed all subsequent Gas Safety inspections as...

Hi all, I'm installing a concrete patio out back. By the wall under the kitchen sink I have an existing P-Trap gully for the grey water from the sink, dishwasher, washing machine etc. When I pour the concrete there won't be any chance to dig it up anymore. From my own research I get the...
