Exactly the same as my kitchen.
Chinese, I'm afraid only way is to remove the insert and measure all the dimensions.

nice easy change

honest opinion its the cost of the tap, labour will be the same either way

Depends to be honest on the quality of the metal work of the tap and overall condition.
That tap looks excellent condition, - so if the handles aren't made of some sort of rotting alloy and come off easily, then I would just replace the ceramic works that is faulty.
Carry a spare tap with you, plus a box of ceramic works and you might find you have works that match and only a 5 minute job.
I fix most mixers first visit.

Looks like a Blanco tap to me. They use a 28 spline ceramic gland not the usual 20. Look to pay between ÂŁ40 & ÂŁ80 for a pair of glands.

I have attached an image of the brass body within a tap. Having replaced a cartridge which has cured a leaking tap, I can see that there is a small leak from the brass body which can be unscrewed. Is there a seal behind the body? Thanks.
