Shaun has almost single handed run this forum for a long time with his answers, so no surprise as he earned this.

hope they have been upto your standard (my answers)

Way beyond mine Shaun! And you seem to almost never be off here. :)
I have drifted away tbh and busy lately.
Respect to your dedication!

Ta best hope you've been enjoying yourself and hard working :)

That is a contradiction using "enjoying" and "hard working" in the one sentence about me nowadays. :)

Just because you've slowed down a bit doesn't mean your not hard working and you still get up in the mornings so you must still like it ;)

Life's way too short

Life's way too short

So right Shaun, life is short. That is why I am trying to avoid stress or large jobs now. Or useless customers. Only jobs I really like now are those that only take a day or less and where customers appreciate it.

It makes all the difference if the customer is a keeper, just makes the job flow better

That is something that has to be told to people joining the trade.
I learnt it too late that some customers are not worth working for. The way I view it is lots of customers try to pick plumbers and we should do same with choosing good customers. It will eliminate all the troublesome folk. Usually a good customer I have found will also recommend me, - and to other similar good people.

Yep normally the ones you can't please arnt worth working for, much rather work for the ones that appreciate you and think / care for you

What a love between you two guys :) enjoying reading such a love story in the morning:)

Sometimes I'm wondering if shauni is actually working :) the answer come mostly straight away after the post of a new member :) but well done definitely

Hi all, this is probably a daft question but I need to run my cold feed from one side of my wall mounted boiler to the other. Running it beneath the boiler is difficult with lots of obstacles, is it okay if I run soldered copper over / across the top of the boiler? It'll be about 4" off the top...

Ideal Logic 24, Previous problem was that the hot water was only cold or barely warm if the heating was in use. If heating was off and boiler cold then would get hot water most of the time. Changing the flow cartridge about 2 years ago (when I moved in) solved this problem enough to suffer it as...
