Afternoon,

I am looking at replacing the toilet cistern / flush on a concealed, low level toilet, it is concealed behind stud and tiles but has limited access from the top. The actual cistern is okay just looking at replacing the flush and probably top entry fill to a more environmental push button flush.

I have seen air operated flushes, but on a budget!

Thanks

You can pick up fluidmaster flush & fill valves for a good price... Go too cheap & it will be more hassle than it's worth. Try screwfix

Sorry, I was after a modern flush which uses less water than a swimming pool I currently have and if anyone can suggest a make.

Thanks

How are you going to change the flush valve if is concealed behind tiles?

It could be tricky. Is there a service hatch?

Modern toilers are designed to use less... Yours might not flush as well if you put less water down it.

Yes there more economical when you can use the small flush button, but not so much when the washer wears & lets water into the pan day & night ;)

Fluidmaster is the make to go for...

If the water usage is your concern then fill 2 small bottles with water and put them in the cistern however when using less water people can find that the waste matter doesn`t always flush away.

I have attached an image of the brass body within a tap. Having replaced a cartridge which has cured a leaking tap, I can see that there is a small leak from the brass body which can be unscrewed. Is there a seal behind the body? Thanks.

Hello, I am seeking some advice, I have a POTTERTON PROMAX 28 COMBI Boiler and I noticed yesterday that the water around the house is no longer warming up. The heat exchanger has been changed 6 months ago, so I do not believe it is that. Does anyone have any ideas on what it could be? Thanks
