Stiff with a Little Trickle

Hi

Over the last few days the hot tap on our Shower Mixer Deck has become very stiff, only turns about 1/4 compared to the cold about 2 full rotations, and the hot water trickles out. We live in a hard water area and the taps have been installed for approx 5 years. Is this limescale build up, dodgy washer or other?

strip it down give it a good clean wd40 or similar and silicone grease and replace.

make sure you turn off the water using the service valve under the sink check washer if its damaged will need replacing but sounds like scale problem
