Saw something tonight that gladdens the heart.

I’d just drop my wife and Mother-in-Law off at Waslgrave Gala Bingo, and was on the return journey home, stuck on the front row at traffic lights at a notoriously deadly, for pedestrians and drivers alike junction on the Ansty road.
Something caught my eye: a large Red wreath had blown off the war memorial and landed smack bang in the middle of the road.
Anyone who knows Ansty road in Coventry will know just how deadly this area is for pedestrian fatalities.
This kid, no more than 14-16 years old ran straight across 5 lanes of traffic and picked up this large poppy covered wreath, before any cars could run over it, and placed it back on the war memorial.
And, if you believe what the papers say, there all no good.

Everybody is an individual, far too much these days of being tarred with the same brush.

Good on him.

Here's the junction/road he ran across in the dark too.

talking about running thins over , I ran over a hare with the van on the way to work yesterday , it ran straight into the road in front of me, felt so bad!! girlfriend would murder me if she found out, ran over a rabbit once when I was starting to date her, she made me stop to check if it was dead, it was. she then made me apologise to the flat rabbit for killing it!! felt such a idiot!!!!

Once gave a GF flowers, never again after she ranted that they would soon be dead and a plant was a better gift, mind you she never got the plant either. lol

I'd have got here some quality bud in a nice big pot then grassed here up 4 or 5 weeks later.
