hi all,

I'm just sorting the drainage for my freestanding bath. Due to a slight misalignment of the drainage / manufacturing error I'm unable to get the rubber seal for the overflow totally compressed up against the bath.

Any recommendations on an alternative to the rubber gasket like Plumbers mait, etc?

Cheers

Thanks, I would imagine if I use silicone or stixall I can just apply a bead around the rubber washer or would you abandon it completely?
Fernox LS-X sealant.
I fitted 2 Essex flanges to my hot water tank and whatever I did, one of them occasionally leaked.
I stripped it and applied some of this sealant to the cork washers, no more leak.
I also used it on a sink drain that wouldn't seal due to a dodgy rubber washer, again, did the job.
Specifically made for these types of leaks, can be applied to wet surfaces.
