For what it's worth I bought kopex 15, 22 & 28 5 years ago and are still going strong
If you're interested in the Bahco ones, the cheaper Forge Steel ones from screwfix are the actual same pipeslice.
Harsh :wink:they will if they never get used though
the rollers come off th spindle. smear with silivone grease and its not an issue. keeps em rolling nice and free. The older Kopex cutters I had never missed a beat, unfortunately I lost them. The newer Kopex ones never seemed to work as well, and I've now gone to Rothenberger simply because they were best priced at the time. They also seem to be adequate, but I'm still forever taking them apart to clean.
I do think painted pipework quickly stops them working as well, as does getting them wet, something to do with the rollers becoming stiffer I guess.
Monument or milwaukeeeeeeeeeeeee
Anyone used tornado pipe slices. Browsing ebay and came across them British made mite give them a bash
I have some 15mm ones, lasted about two months and spring went kaput. Still sat in the box and get the occasional trip out if I can't be bothered hunting for my mate who normally takes my old Kopex ones.Anyone used tornado pipe slices.
